Spotty Dotty Catherine in Blue

Well I have to say that I simply adore these two fabrics together! it's taken a little while to finish this one as there are so many distractions at this time of year! (I find my tiny mind wondering as I gaze out of the window at feeding birds instead of just getting on with it) I really must pull my socks up!!

A great day for a photo shoot......

Well off we went with a flask of tea, lots of quilts, my sister and me,
We ended up in a sunny glade and took out the lovely quilts that I made,
A few snaps later and back in the car, down the road home, it's not very far,
We upload the photos to see what we got, it didn't take long but we got quite a lot,
So here's just a few of our favorite pics, if you want to enlarge then give them a click!

    Getting your head down?

My  Chester--the grumpiest, scruffiest, lazy, demanding and most lovable old ginger tom cat you could meet!!

and I simply adore him!! he usually puts his head down like this when he goes to sleep!

my favourite fabric (at the moment)

This is my favourite fabric at the moment BUT I'm very fickle.  It seems that every fabric that I'm working on becomes my favourite! I find in amazing that a flat piece of fabric can be transformed into something so snugly, plump and warm.

    bees and snails!

I went into the garden to tidy the borders! but as usual I have been waylaid by my visitors, some invited and one in particular uninvited guest but he's too sweet to ask to leave!

I try to grow flowers that the bees love but the slugs and snails would rather leave and this cosmos is just one of them, easy peasy to grow and last ages!
